Avery Hamel

Avery Hamel (she/her) currently serves as a social media assistant for the History of Black Writing (HBW) where she helps to design social media and blog posts. She is currently a freshman studying journalism with a concentration in sports media. She serves as a writing contributor for several baseball websites and enjoys sports writing in her free time. She is from Colorado Springs, CO, and enjoys learning about Black history and literature.
