Project on the History of Black Writing (HBW) Look Back Series—Featuring Michael Eric Dyson

Goyland Williams (HBW Staff Member)

Since the publication of his first book,
scholar and public intellectual Michael Eric Dyson has established himself as a
force in the fields of cultural criticism, religion, philosophy, and
communication studies. From his days at Chicago Theological Seminary to his
Distinguished Professorship at Georgetown University, Dyson has become a
household name. Whether he is confronting the systematic workings of white
supremacy, or reflecting on the brilliance and shortcomings of Hip Hop, Dyson
is sure to bring a rhetorical eloquence to the subject matter.
