Goyland Williams (HBW Staff Member)

Featuring literary critic, poet, and
scholar Jerry W. Ward, Jr. is not an easy task. Ward’s career spans more than
40 years at both Tougaloo College and Dillard University. His list of
accomplishments and service in the field of African American Literature are
expansive as they are impressive. As part of our looking back series, the
Project on the History of Black Writing is pleased to offer a glimpse into the
commentary and scholarship that Dr. Ward have offered as a representative for
HBW throughout the years.
