Biography —
Walter Sours (he/him) is an archive specialist for the History of Black Writing (HBW). He is in his last year of his Accelerated MA in History. He received his BA in History and American Studies from the University of Kansas in Spring 2023. His research focuses primarily on Labor and Radical History from the early 20th Century. He wrote his honors undergraduate thesis about The People's College of Fort Scott, Kansas, a socialist education experiment in the 1910s. He worked at the Spencer Research Library before joining the History of Black Writing.
