Evan Barton

Evan Barton (he/him) is a data tank assistant for the Black Book Interactive Project (BBIP) at the History of Black Writing (HBW) and a PhD student on the Creative Writing track in University of Kansas' English department. He received his MFA degree from the University of Washington in 2022, and he is currently working on completing a book-length draft of his thesis project. He has a background in journalism and communications, though he spent most of 2020 teaching English in Shanghai.
