Morgan McComb is a master’s student at the University of Kansas who studies African American Poetry with a particular concentration on Detroit poets since the Black Arts Movement. She was Co-Coordinator of the Fall 2017 Black Literary Suite - "Reclaiming the Body:  Women Writing Women” and helped create and organize a literary and historical timeline of the widespread literary tradition of black women writing on reclamation and resistance. She is currently working on a series of critical pieces about the poet, publisher, editor, and educator Naomi Long Madgett.
