Kristin Joi Lockridge, PhD, recently accepted an Assistant Professor position at Evergreen State College in Olympia, WA. A graduate of Columbia College Chicago’s Story Workshop Method with a BA in Fiction Writing, as well as an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of North Carolina Wilmington, Kristin’s fiction and poetry have appeared in the SN Review, You Must Be This Tall to Ride, and Psychic Meatloaf literary journals. Her current work includes themes of miscegenation, displaced identity, otherness, migration and diasporas. She also serves as the Assistant Fiction Editor of Beecher’s Magazine.
