Bradshaw is a senior studying creative writing at the University of Kansas. Raised in Jetmore, Kansas, her future goals include establishing her own publishing company specializing in promoting young writers’ works.  While at KU, she became a published author with her debut novel Eliza: A Generational Journey, which tells the life journey of her x5 great grandmother's as a slave in Kentucky.

Crystal has served as a University Daily Kansan Opinion Columnist, Freshman Leadership Council member, Spanish/Biology tutor, Multicultural Scholar, Honors Peer Mentor, Honors Seminar Assistant, and Honors Resident Assistant.  In her work with HBW Communications, she manages daily office communications and mailing lists, handles board member communication, and assists in filing and organization.
