Connor Noteboom is a senior double majoring in English and Philosophy and is the Collections Specialist for HBW. He was born in Jackson, Mississippi, raised in Memphis, Tennessee, and then moved to Overland Park, Kansas in the fourth grade. He now lives in Lawrence while completing his studies at KU. Currently he is working on coordinating duties for scanning over 400 African American novels to be digitized and catalogued as a part of an NEH grant. His interests outside of academia include heavy metal music and concerts, playing guitar, standup comedy, and Newfoundland dogs.
