Alysha Griffin

Alysha Griffin received a BA in English and history from Spelman College and a MA in English from the University of Kansas. After completing her Masters, Alysha worked as the Program Manager at the Lucy Craft Laney Museum of Black History and served as an instructor of English at Paine College, both located in Augusta, GA. In fall 2016, she returned to KU as a PhD student in theatre. Her research areas include African American theatre and performance, acting, and performance theory.
